How would you like to be introduced to our listeners?
Scott Walchek is a Silicon Valley technology entrepreneur who has invested more than 35 years building companies that deliver world-class innovation in software, emerging media, and online marketplaces.

Among his most notable achievements, Scott co-founded and led several companies, including one of the first e-commerce tech companies which he sold to Inktomi (the world’s leading internet search provider before Google); a boutique VC fund called Integrity Partners LLC, investing in a portfolio of technology companies; an electronic consumer debt trading platform called DebtMarket, which was sold to Intercontinental Exchange, the parent company to some of the world’s largest financial marketplaces, including the NYSE; and his latest venture, Trov, now the global leader in embedded insurance where he currently serves as its CEO and chairman of the board.

During his time as a VC investor, Scott also co-led the seed investment in China's dominant search engine, Baidu, where he served as a director until its historic IPO in August 2005. Leveraging the success of Baidu, Scott formed the W Charitable Foundation with his wife and four children.
