How would you like to be introduced to our listeners?
Amanda lives to find and tell stories. She’s done it for more than 20 years for brands like Kit and Ace, Lululemon and Woolmark. As one of Monday’s co-founders, she’s on the frontline, hearing client stories and finding strategic ways to bring them to the right audience. Amanda has a Masters in Publishing and teaches digital storytelling at the University of British Columbia. She regularly speaks about the art and science of conversion-driving content. Amanda has sat on the boards of the BCAMA and SAD Mag, and recently celebrated her 9th year as a volunteer Big Sister. When she’s not in Monday’s Strathcona office she’s likely running up (or down) a coastal mountain.

What's One Thing Most People Don't Know About You?

  • I was really into punkrock as a teen and briefly had a labret piercing (ew!).

  • Last year my biz partner and I launched a new angel investing venture (Futuretense Capital) and have made a couple investments in CPG brands.

  • I need a lot of alone time! I'm INCREDIBLY "on" during the day—on client calls, meetings with my team, biz dev happy hours—and can really perform in social settings. People would be surprised to know that I will happily spend an entire weekend alone to find balance.

  • I'm a twin
